Full Bio

Durand Warren serves as a healthcare executive and leader in integrated behavioral health services, where he has spent more than a decade building systems designed to expand access to treatment and recovery. His work has included developing crisis stabilization programs, intensive outpatient treatment models, and integrated care services that address the complex needs of individuals navigating substance use and mental health challenges.

Originally from rural West Virginia, Warren’s path to leadership was shaped by adversity, personal transformation, and a deep commitment to rebuilding lives and communities. Today, he brings that perspective into his leadership, speaking, and research.

Warren is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Executive Leadership, where his research explores the internal transformations that enable individuals, particularly those who have experienced incarceration, to move from survival-based thinking into positions of ethical leadership and influence.

His speaking engagements focus on leadership development, resilience, identity reconstruction, and the importance of creating systems that help people rise beyond their past rather than remain defined by it.

He has presented to national audiences, including more than 1,400 attendees at NatCon24 in St. Louis, and continues to speak with organizations seeking to develop leaders who can transform adversity into purpose-driven leadership.
